A network supporting Learning Mobility
The MOB2LEARN Network is launched: concrete support for Euro-Mediterranean Mobility in the Education, Training, Youth and Sport sectors.
We are pleased to inform you that Made for Skills S.r.l. has set up a transnational network to support transnational Learning Mobility.
Organizations have joined in the following countries: Austria (Vienna), Northern Ireland – United Kingdom (Londonderry), Greece (Rethimno), Malta (Sliema), Portugal (Portugal), Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Valencia).
Supporting EU policies for Education and Vocational Training
The analysis of EU policies supporting education and vocational training, and in particular the activities promoted for the implementation of the “Bologna process” and the “Lisbon process” in recent decades shows an intensification of the needs of internationalization in the structures operating within the framework of human resources training.
All the institutions working in the field of education and vocational training have been expressly invited to:
- implement different kinds of International Partnership designed to support activities for the promotion of the research and of the development of training skills, first through the Mobility at European and Extra-European level;
- offer the opportunity for students and graduates to integrate their studies or continue their training life by means of “work placement” in another European or Euro-Mediterranean country;
- improve the quality and increase the volume of the cooperation between Higher Education institutions, and VET institutions or organizations that offer learning opportunities, private enterprises, social partners working all over Europe.
These key factors require actions at international high added value such actions to promote innovation and integration of social inclusion policies, consolidate the creation of networks, fostering training and education policies integrated with the EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.
MOB2LEARN intends to improve the quality and efficiency of international mobility, enhancing its impact and relevance for students and employers, as well as promoting the quality of learning mobility and the interest it arouses.
Life wide learning is therefore an essential factor to achieve the objectives of the Lisbon process and improve the access to training systems.
MADE FOR SKILLS S.r.l., through the creation of the MOB2LEARN network, intends to be a reference point at the Sicilian and Euro-Mediterranean level for the implementation of international mobility projects.
